About Rogers Fire Department

Rogers Fire Department traces its roots to November 22, 1888, when volunteers chartered the Rogers Hose Company Number 1 under first chief John H. Rebholz. The organization operated as an all-volunteer outfit for 34 years before being formally reorganized into a professional municipal fire department in 1922, and it has grown steadily ever since into a fully career-staffed agency.

Today the department fields more than 169 full-time members out of eight fire stations, a dedicated training campus, and a Risk Reduction Division building, running roughly 20 emergency response vehicles across Field Operations, Community Risk Reduction, and Training divisions. It provides fire suppression, emergency medical care, hazardous materials response, and technical rescue service, and holds "triple crown" recognition combining Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI) accreditation, Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) accreditation, and an Insurance Service Office (ISO) Class 1 rating for superior fire protection.

The department also maintains a volunteer Honor Guard, formed after 9/11, that represents Rogers Fire at community events and performs at funeral services for fallen firefighters.

MissionIt is the mission of the Rogers Fire Department to provide exceptional risk-related services to our customers.
