Department careers page ↗Crisp County Fire Rescue (CCFR) is the all-hazards fire and emergency medical agency serving Cordele and Crisp County, Georgia, under Fire Chief Russell Ayotte. The department's stated mission is to protect the life and property of county residents and visitors from both natural and man-made hazards through training, prevention, and public education.
CCFR operates six strategically located stations across the county with full-time personnel, and fields two dedicated fire investigators who determine the cause and origin of fires. Beyond emergency response, the department runs community-facing programs including a smoke detector giveaway program, a house-number sign program to help responders locate rural addresses, and ongoing fire safety education.
