About St Joseph Fire Department

The St. Joseph Fire Department serves the city of St. Joseph in northwest Missouri along the Missouri River. It is a full-career organization staffed by more than 130 employees working out of nine fire stations and eleven companies.

The department is organized into five divisions covering fire prevention, fire suppression, training, maintenance, and administration. Alongside structural firefighting, crews provide first-responder medical care and mutual aid to surrounding communities.
