Department careers page ↗Evesham Fire-Rescue is the combination career/volunteer fire department serving Evesham Township in Burlington County, New Jersey, including the community of Marlton. Governed by a publicly elected five-member Board of Fire Commissioners under Evesham Township Fire District No. 1, the department fields roughly 125 career, per-diem, and volunteer firefighters and EMTs out of three stations spread across the township's 30 square miles, which include a mix of residential and commercial neighborhoods along with wildland-urban interface terrain bordering Burlington and Camden counties.
Beyond fire suppression and rescue, the department runs its own EMS operation, staffing at least one engine and two BLS transport units around the clock, and its Division of Fire Prevention/Education handles inspections and Uniform Construction Code work. The Fire Chief also serves as Evesham Township's Emergency Management Coordinator, tying the department into broader township emergency planning.
