About Town of Huntersville Fire Department

The department runs four stations around town, with full-time firefighter/EMTs staffing Stations 1 and 4 and part-time personnel rounding out coverage across all four, every shift, every day of the year.

Crews respond from a mixed fleet built for both structural firefighting and technical rescue, including front-line and reserve engines, two ladder companies, a heavy rescue unit, tankers, and brush trucks for the wildland-urban interface around the growing lakefront community.
