The Awendaw-McClellanville Fire Department serves the unincorporated areas of Charleston County north of Mount Pleasant, covering roughly 365 square miles of suburban, rural, coastal, and federal forest land. Its service area spans Awendaw, McClellanville, Boone Hall, South Santee, and the Germantown area, including the towns of Awendaw and McClellanville.
