Department careers page ↗Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR) serves one of the largest counties east of the Mississippi River, covering about 1,255 square miles of unincorporated South Carolina. It is a combination career and volunteer organization tasked with fire protection for the unincorporated county and emergency medical services for the county as a whole.
