The City of Iola is accepting applications for Firefighters with an EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic certification. These positions are responsible for fire prevention, fire suppression, and emergency rescue in conjunction with emergency medical care and life support. Base annual salary for an EMT starts at $47,683, AEMT starts at $52,501, and Paramedic starts at $56,151.
