The hiring range for this position is $30.14 - $37.67/hourly

OVERVIEW OF POSITION / DEPARTMENT
The Fleet Fire Technician performs maintenance, repair, warranty inspections, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of automotive and heavy equipment, primarily fire apparatus and equipment.

The city of Aurora will implement furlough days (unpaid days off) for most employees in 2026. The scheduled furlough dates are January 16, April 10, July 2, and December 24.
